Walk to end hunger

Walk to Feed the Hungry

Bearing in mind the Buddha's statements that "hunger is the worst kind of illness" and "the gift of food is the gift of life," Buddhist Global Relief is organizing Walk to Feed the Hungry events in eleven cities across the United States. International walks will also take place in the United Kingdom, India, and Cambodia. Find a walk near you, and help support Buddhist Global Relief’s projects to provide food and protect the inherent dignity of human life.

CROP Hunger Walks

Observe World Food Day by participating in one of Church World Service’s CROP Hunger Walks. With its inception in 1969, CROP Hunger Walks are "viewed by many as the granddaddy of charity walks” (Los Angeles Times, 2009). More than 1,300 Crop Hunger Walks are held each year, raising funds to fight hunger in communities across the country and around the world.  Walk, volunteer or donate to an October walk near you.
