CARE-UGA, a new student organization involved in education, advocacy and action in international development and the fight against global poverty, was presented to the campus community as part of the observance of World Food Day at the university. In addition to the CARE-UGA briefing other features of the event were the WFD teleconference and a lunch based on world staple foods.
