A month long art exhibit and sealed bid auction, hosted by the Pastiche Modern Eatery, will be held in recognition of the 25th anniversary of World Food Day. "In keeping with the highest traditions of the spirit of generosity that personifies our community a number of local artists have graciously donated pieces of their work to the Community Food bank as their contribution to the World Food Day effort."  

Other events in Tucson included the Blues Heritage Fall Festival at the Reid Park Bandshell where food donations were collected and the World Food Day Teleconference which was carried on two local cable channels.
