As many of you may know, World Food Day is October 16th. World Food Day is a worldwide event designed to increase awareness, understanding and informed, year-around action to alleviate hunger. The Food Security Division is planning to partner with the Capital Area Food Bank and help raise awareness and provide them with information about Counterpart and its many humanitarian aid activities. The Food Security Division is having a Food Drive at Counterpart headquarters. We would appreciate it if everyone could donate non-perishable food items, which would be donated to the Food Bank. It's for a great cause so your help would be much appreciated!
